The team from A Story About My Uncle is planning something big and to gain momentum when this happens it would really help if you followed us on twitter and facebook to be there when it all goes down.

We would like to say thanks to all the fans who have supported us so far and we really hope that you want to be there when it becomes even more serious

I did expect to get a yearly Christmas card from my friends the Lando Twins however I did not expect to receive A Story About My Uncle’s first fanart!

Check out their work at Deviantart.

Thank you for the card guys!

It’s been a great year for us. We get a lot of positive feedback about our game and it’s really amazing how well we’ve been received by the community.

We have been featured on the German website Heise.de as one of their free games of the year.

We have also surpassed 12k downloads on Chip.de which has helped us a lot with their servers. Thank you guys! Please go there and vote us up so that we may further our reach.

If you are a Redditer you could also go there and post some feedback about our game and perhaps spread word about us to more gamers out there.

Thank you all who have played and shared our game this year. It’s been great fun to just be able to spread our creation for free with you guys.

Our first week after the release has been a real success. Thanks to our fan’s coverage on Youtube and small indie sites, together with a bunch of big ones, we have been able to reach a couple thousand players. That is more than we imagined.

We estimate that we have around 8 000 – 9 000 downloads.

Here are a few websites where we have been featured:

IGN

Pikigeek

Clearence Bin Review

Rock Paper Shotgun

Feber  – Swedish

Indie-Love

Indiegames

Truly Interesting Media

Idealsoftblog – Italian

Chip - German

Project better dolphin

Zockah – German

Polygamia – Polish

Thank you guys for the feedback and coverage. Let me know if I’ve missed someone.

We have been featured in about 60 Youtube videos and while I can’t post all of them I’d like to feature a few.

Is it worth it? – Etalyx

Lets play – Disrespecting

We had extremely much fun watching these videos and would like to thank you for posting them. Let us know if we’ve missed any particularly nice videos.

A Story About My Uncle didn’t win any prizes at Swedish Game Awards this year but we are really happy with the feedback we received, the other contestants and most importantly, you guys who played our game. It feels great to be placed next to games like Secrets of Grindea, Build’n'Break and Post Mortem. Thanks for the amazing games that you have made!

I would also like to thank you people who have written about our game on various sites.
